Q&A

Do we need a floor drain and where is the connection for cold water>

Asked by: Louis
This machine would need to be gravity drained or pumped to a drain using a condensate pump. The diagram on this specification sheet shows the water inlet location: http://primasupply.com/sites/default/files/manitowoc-ice/manitowoc/qm30-3019.pdf

ARE THE EGS ADJUSTABLE? I NEED TO LOWER IT ABOUT 2 INCHES.

Asked by: richard
Yes, the legs are adjustable from 6"-7.25". The machine itself is 30" tall, so the 36" measurement is the shortest it can be.

Are the legs removable?

Asked by: richard
Yes, the QM-30A Manitowoc has removable legs and you can set the unit on the ground while you're using it. There is no minimum clearance required, but they recommend at least 5" of clearance on the top, sides, and back.

Does this model produce individual cubes or does the cubes come out in sheets that you need to break up with an ice scoop?

Asked by: TimBo
The fall to the bin is what breaks up those sheets. So, given the shorter amount of distance the ice has to fall, undercounter machines like this may have some sheets that need to be broken on occasion. Hope that helps!
