Overview

Using infrared technology, the Vulcan VTEC48 charbroiler cooks with indirect heat. The VTEC’s burners (22,000 BTU/hr. for each burner) are set right underneath infrared panels. These panels warm up uniformly and in so doing evenly cook your food. Other charbroilers typically have flare-ups that cause food to dry out or even become charred. Because the VTEC is outfitted with infrared panels, your end product will be juicier, bigger, and meatier than a competitor's charbroiler.

Infrared heating is better for the way it evenly distributes heat on the cooking surface. Normal charbroilers will fluctuate in hundreds of degrees, but the VTEC differs in temperature by only about twenty degrees. This uniform heat distribution allows more cooking space on your grill, so you can actually use all that space you purchased.

The initial preheating stage takes about twenty minutes so that placing meat or veggies on your charbroiler will happen much sooner than ever before.
