A durable and efficient ice making solution for your high-volume environment, the Manitowoc Indigo Series IY-1106A-261 High Capacity Modular Ice Cube Machine is an excellent option for most any food service environment, producing up to 1200 lbs. of half dice (3/8 in. x 1 1/8 in. x 7/8 in.) ice cubes per day. And, with its eco-friendly and efficient features, this machine keeps operating costs low and maintains a small footprint which means more money in your pocket at the end of each day.

The EasyRead® display, unique to the Indigo Series ice machines, allows for simple, streamlined communication between the operator and the equipment. This technology utilizes unique symbols on an illuminated blue screen to differentiate between urgent and non-urgent concerns and messages. And for ease of access. you can read crucial information regarding your machine like the model number, serial numbers, warranty information, etc. with just a touch of a button.

Equipped with programmable ice production settings, the IY-1106A-261 exceeds ENERGY STAR standards and is built with durability in mind. This machine has an acoustical ice sensing probe that ensures consistent and reliable operation and any surfaces and parts that would require cleaning and care are accessible from the front of the machine and removable without the hassle of a tool kit. Its DuraTech Exterior, stainless steel finish, and clear-coat resist fingerprints, dirt, and corrosion making this ice machine durable and easy to clean.

Manitowoc has also included several key components to inhibit lime deposits, slime growth, and mineral scale, increasing the reliability of the unit. Several plastic food zone parts are molded with AlphaSan® antimicrobial protection and the Automatic Cleaning System (iAuCS®) can initiate a cleaning/sanitizing cycle to the evaporator automatically at a predetermined interval. This lowers operating costs and extends time between servicing. The LuminIce® Growth Inhibitor inhibits yeast and bacteria growth by creating "active air" that passes over exposed parts of the food zone.**
