Using locally sourced, daily trimmed and ground meat, Grind's burgers are fresh and oh-so-delicious. Determined to serve up top notch burgers, beers, and fries (or brussels sprouts), owners Liz and Jesse Huot have put in long hours with lots of hard work. Thankfully, that's paid off for the burger loving masses with the production of beef perfection. They're opening up a new location later this year on 829 E. Market Street.

Grind's Story

"Grind Burger Kitchen was founded by Liz and Jesse Huot as Grind Gourmet Burger Truck in the Spring of 2012, and by June of 2014 had grown into a permanent location. With little more than what was in their bank account they rebuilt a former sushi joint into a thriving restaurant that has received local and national attention. By partnering with local farms for ingredients and primarily for their proprietary blend of beef, Grind has become an ambassador for local grass-fed beef and the local food movement in Louisville. Now having grown into a successful brick and mortar location, the truck has since closed but they continue to support local farms through commitment to innovation and commitment to quality."
