The Vitamix 62827 Vita-Prep is a new product, released in 2017, that replaces the Vitamix 1002 Vita-Prep.

The Vita Prep 62827

The Vitamix 62827 Vita-Prep (replaces the Vita-Prep 1002) is often called the professional chef's power tool. Make silky smooth purees, grind whole spices and grains, chop vegetables and more. The Vita-Prep outlasts other blenders 3 to 1, and is the most powerful blender you will ever use. The new 2.3 horsepower motor has a higher thermal efficency than the Vita-Prep 1002, which allows constant blending to suit your needs. The Vita-Prep is NSF Certified and comes with a 64 oz container made of durable, BPA free, fade and stain resistant Tritan Polimer.
