The True 800350 crankcase pressure regulating valve manufactured by Sporlan (CRO6-0/60-1/2) protects the compressor from being overloaded with high pressure gas. The CRO is installed in the refrigeration line just before the compressor in order to limit the pressure to a predetermined level during and after the defrost cycle or during a shutdown period. Because the compressor is the most important and expensive component of the refrigeration system, the pressure regulating valve is a vital component to ensuring that your unit functions properly.
