Over time, moisture from the air will accumulate and frost can build up in your unit. The True 801827 defrost heater coil is designed for the breakdown of frost, but can wear out over time. It measures 165 1/2" in length when it is uncoiled. When the 801827 is bent it makes 4 passes and measures 38 1/2" by 7 1/2" with 18" lead wires. It was previously 950W and is now 900W.
