As the evaporator heater melts frost off of the evaporator coil, the water that forms drips down through a drain hose and into a drip pan at the bottom of the unit. As the water drips from the evaporator, it must first pass through the True 811504 straight nozzle before it can enter the drain hose. If your straight drain nozzle is broken or cracked, you need to replace it quickly in order to prevent water from gathering in places other than the drain pan inside your unit. The True 811504 straight drain set is manufactured with high impact polystyrene plastic and includes one drain nozzle and one grommet.
