The True 879863 nylon door cord works with a weight system in your True sliding door cooler to ensure that the door automatically closes after each time it is opened. Over time, the repeated opening and closing of the door causes the nylon door cord to fray. To prevent your door from closing improperly as a result of a frayed or broken door cord, replace your door cord as soon as you notice signs of wear. The True 879863 nylon door cord measures 4’ long and fits on a number of True GDM, GEM, TBB, and TSD units.
