Channels are mounted in the top and bottom of the door frame of your sliding door unit and provide the space for sliding doors to move back and forth within the frame. Located within these channels are the v-tracks, which guide the motion of the door as it is opened and closed. If one of the channels or v-tracks in your sliding door unit becomes damaged, it will keep the door from closing properly and can compromise the ability for the entire unit to maintain its temperature.
